Celebration

Perspective is everything. Although things didn't seem perfect at the time, and they weren't how I had intended, when I look at the road I'm on I realize that somehow, it is and was all perfect.

I'm right where I'm supposed to be—opening a Concept Shop in the heart of Capitol Hill, Seattle; and if I've learned anything its that the best choice is to go with the flow.  Up or down, it is was it is.  Stop, breathe and enjoy.

Many years ago I was living a life in what most people would consider "paradise", yet somehow I couldn't help feeling like I was in the wrong place. 

Something kept nagging at me and I knew change was underway.  I didn't feel like I had any choice but to say yes to what ever laid ahead.

Fast forward to 2012 when I found myself experimenting with leather.  Although I didn't have a clear vision, the MOO-YOUNG brand was born.

I've come such a long way on such an unexpected journey: from Jamaica to Seattle and everywhere in between, from years of college eduction and numerous degrees I found myself doing what I did when I was five.  Dreaming, creating and making.

Had I stopped to analyze where life was taking me along the way, I wouldn't be here. 

Letting life happen is both terrifying and beautiful. It is what it is so make the best out of it and enjoy!
